This is the "classic" inflatable
Godzilla, from the Japanese Toho films, approx. 6 feet tall (when properly
pumped up), and quite a rarity these days--selling for upwards of $50.00
U.S. on eBay! This particular inflatable G was given to us as a gift by
writer Louie Maistros of New Orleans, who just happened to have one stored
in his mother's basement. As we all know, no wedding is complete without an
inflatable cross-dressing Godzilla. (Bridal veil courtesy of Goodwill,
approx. $2.00.) Sadly, Bridezilla started to deflate as the festivities
progressed, and appears here looking a little used, dejected, possibly
several vodka shots the worse for wear, a mere shadow of his former
gloriously nuptial, aggressive, fully-inflated self.
